On Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, Atlantic Launch's crew aboard the Cape Henry Express rescued a vessel called The Rojodan, which was 289 miles SSE of Cape Henry, after its owner and crew were rescued by a United States Coast Guard helicopter out of Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
During our search, we were notified that the vessel was the only other moving contact in that area and realized that we were chasing a moving target that was heading towards the coast of Wilmington, North Carolina. Once we reached the target, we then towed it back to Cape Charles, Virginia, to reunite with its owner.
